A 1960s living room at Christmas

Christmas 1967 started with a memory. A living room lit only by candles. A tree that smelled of forest. Wrapping paper on the floor, and the people who mattered most all in one room. Nothing about it was commercial โ€” and everything about it was magical.

Somewhere along the way Christmas turned into a season of plastic and clearance stickers. Trees became disposable. Lights came pre-installed and failed after two years. So we set out to rebuild that first feeling in a single, honest object.

One tree, done properly

Our tree is shaped after the Nordmann silhouette of the late 1960s: dense, full and slightly irregular, the way nature makes them. The branch system is wired throughout, so you can shape it, and so it survives being packed away for eleven months a year.

There are no built-in LED lights. Lighting is a choice, not a factory decision โ€” and nothing integrated can ever fail on you. You add authentic candle lights separately, exactly where you want them.

Christmas trees made in Europe

Every tree is made in Europe from R.E.A.L. certified, fire-safe materials, with a soft-matte PE/PVC needle mix chosen for how it reads in candlelight rather than how cheaply it can be produced.
